Early start to the day and a large mutual aid fire!

Today (8/22/22) at 2:25AM, the Kent Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched mutual aid to Lake Carmel Fire Dept with a brush truck for a large brush fire on Ressique St. Upon arrival the crew immediately went to work helping to establish a fire line and extinguish the fire. 16-3-1 was then relocated to White Pond to establish a water source to fill tankers. Crews cleared Lake Carmel at 5:10AM

Later in the day at 1:22PM, Kent Fire was dispatched mutual aid to Beekman Fire Company, Inc. with 1 tanker to assist at Barton Orchards where they were on-scene of a multi-building fire as well as a propane truck on fire. 16-4-1 supplied the scene with 12,000 gallons of water to help with the extinguishment. 16-4-1 returned at approx. 5:30PM.
