| On Tuesday, May 30th members of the Kent Volunteer Fire Department participated in a fireground operations drill at the Putnam County Fire Training Center in Kent. Members practiced radio communications, hose line advancement, search techniques, and ladders. These skills are important to practice to keep fire ground operations smooth and affective when life and/or property are on the line.
If you are 16 years of age or older & live within the Kent Fire District, now is your opportunity to do something good and become a part of our team. All training and equipment is provided by the department.
Stop by the Firehouse any Tuesday at 7:00PM or Sunday at 9:30AM to learn more about us, the benefits of being a volunteer and grab an application.
Feel free to send us an email at Secretary@kentvfd.com & we will be happy to answer any further questions! |
