We can’t forget the images of exhausted and grieving Firefighters who searched relentlessly through rubble to recover members and civilians in the aftermath of the attacks. As we look back with gratitude at the bravery of those who risked everything in service to others, we renew our pledge to Never Forget all who were lost 21 years ago. The memory of innocent lives lost and of the 343 Firefighters and Officers who made the Supreme Sacrifice is forever embedded in our hearts and minds.
We will Never Forget the 343 members who perished on that terrible day and the hundreds of first responders who have since lost their lives to 9/11 related illnesses. We also will never forget all the tower workers who innocently lost their lives that day.
Please take a moment today to remember those that lost their lives on that horrific day and those we have lost since 9/11.
Putnam County’s observation of the will be held today, September 11th at the Putnam Heroes Memorial located at Spain Cornerstone Park, 1 Fair St, Carmel, New York. The Candle Light Vigil will start at 7:00PM 🇺🇸
